As it was predictable after the barbecue and the bonfire, I didn't get up early, so my plan of renting a bike and go to Death Valley in it was postponed, it will be tomorrow or it won't be at all.
So, I stayed at the hostel doing home life on my last day before turning 30 until it was time for my daily tour.
At 3 o'clock I was picked up. It's time to see the Atacama salt flats and Chaxa Lagoon, where there's a flamingo preservation area. But, before getting there, we stopped at the town of Toconao and another place whose name I can't remember.

Ok, so now we're in our spot of the day. And actually, there's more to show than to tell. The lagoons become mirrors and I waited anxious for the sunset in this place surrounded by volcanoes. Suddenly, everything turned purple and the magic happened.

On the way back to San Pedro I just stared at the sky that crowded the sky in a few minutes.
After having dinner and without much done in the whole day, my birthday arrived, first in Uruguay, an hour later in Chile. So, I went to the hostel bar to start my birthday but anonymously, just toasting with myself. I ran into Patricia and her German friends that were having a game night. That was how I ended playing cards with them, well, at least trying to play because I never understood the game they were playing despite Patricia's efforts to explain it to me. Of course I lost almost inmediately. A few beers afterwards I went to bed, because my special birhtday day starts at 6 am.
